We were all excited.
Until someones phone beeped.

I turned back to my poem.

They opened the curtains in the library.
We all stopped working,
For a good three minutes.
Then we forgot the gently speckled ground outside.
It snowed in January,
We hardly noticed.
Faces buried in books
About anatomy and the Arctic.
We almost missed it.
It snowed in January.
It didnt stop.
Until we went to build a snowman...
